High Current, Solid State 3 Phase AC Contactors
A 3 phase solid state AC contactor with current carrying capability to 185 Amps is now available. The AC Contactors are available with ratings of up to 1,600 V peak reverse voltage per leg with a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.95 V. Output currents to 160 ARMS in ambient and to 185 ARMS with forced air-cooling. The contactors are capable of handling surge currents to 5,100 Amps. All contactors are MOV compensated as standard with freewheeling diodes and fans offered as optional items. The contactors consisting of the diode modules mounted on the heat sink greatly reduce the downtime associated with repairs involving the replacement of individual diodes saving money and simplifying the repair. They are utilized in power plants to control high voltage scrubbers, or anywhere that high current contactors are required. Lead times for contactors are stock to 4 weeks delivery. Also available in Three Phase Bridge configurations to with average currents to 235 Amps with forced air cooling and PIV ratings of up to 1200 Volts per leg
